Do I still need to have to have the COVID vaccine to work as cabin crew for Emirates, Etihad or Qatar?

Do I still need to have proof of the COVID vaccine?

Many questions still arise about the need for the COVID vaccine if you intend on working as cabin crew.

Dubai UAE has lifted all COVID-19 Health requirements. However, if you work for EK or any other airlines as cabin crew, many destinations still require you to show proof that you are COVID vaccinated. Some of these countries include China, Indonesia, Nepal, Myanmar, Taiwan, USA, Singapore, Seychelles, Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe and Hong Kong. For USA, China, Indonesia (Bali included), unvaccinated people are banned from entering. Other countries require quarantine and PCR tests if you are unvaccinated.

For all flights to USA - If you are a non-U.S. citizen who is a nonimmigrant (not a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, lawful permanent resident, or traveling to the United States on an immigrant visa), you will need to show proof of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 before you travel by air to the United States from a foreign country.

For the above reasons, cabin crew are still required to have the full COVID vaccination.
